Advantages and Uses
Profile designed as a solution for existing expansion joints in the substrate where the external WalAce EIFS is going to be installed.
Application Procedure
- Apply WalAce mortar over the insulation panels positioned on both sides of the expansion joint.
- Position the fibreglass meshes over the mortar so that the profiles forming these elements are positioned over the corners parallel to the insulation plates forming the joint, in order that both reinforce the corner points of the expansion joint.
- Introduce the elastic band inside the expansion joint.
Recommendations
- Do not clad the existing expansion joints in the substrate with insulation plates. Use the expansion joint profile to resolve this particular point.
- Once the profile has been positioned, leave it to dry for at least 24 hours.
